The Journey

Every story shared, every exhibition created, and every community gathering becomes part of a larger journey. This page documents the path of the Inspires Foundation as we travel from one community to the next, collecting stories, fostering meaningful conversations, and celebrating the voices that remind us of our shared humanity. Along the way, our Travel Journal captures the thoughts and reflections of those who experience each exhibition. Each entry preserves a moment in time, creating a living record of the questions explored, the stories shared and connections made throughout the journey.

Busboys and Poets, Washington, DC | July 2026

The inaugural I Dream America exhibition invited visitors to experience twenty authentic stories through portraits, personal audio recordings, and Story Mandalas. As guests listened to each storyteller’s voice while viewing their portrait and reflecting on their Story Mandala, many lingered in thoughtful conversation, including with three featured storytellers who were present throughout the evening. Although only three storytellers attended in person, every storyteller was present through their own voice, creating an experience that inspired several visitors to ask if they could continue listening to more stories after the exhibition.

Travel Journal | July 17, 2026 | What is your dream for America?

“To be a country where trust is restored, community is powerful and the voices of hope outweighs the voices of those who fear change.”

The Journey Continues

This is only the beginning. As the Inspires Foundation travels to new communities, this page will continue to grow with each exhibition, preserving the stories, conversations, and moments that connect us across cultures and generations.
